Carolyn Wells (Azorina, AZ) Wedding Photojournalist Bio PortraitLeah Nash has a Master's degree from the Missouri School of Journalism, the oldest journalism school in the world and one of the forerunners of the documentary movement. Using her journalistic backgrounds she tells stories through photographs. This same approach is used to capture the unique moments of your wedding. Leah focuses on the spontaneous and candid, taking some posed photos, but primarily remaining in the background and letting events direct her eye. The goal is to create a set of images that represent your day.

Photography Achievements

Leah is an award-winning photographer who started shooting weddings in 1997. Her clients include The New York Times, The LA Times, The Washington Post, Newsweek, The Oregonian, and Portland Monthly. Leah balances shooting weddings with international documentary work and did her graduate work photographing AIDS in India on a Fulbright Grant. With a B.A. in psychology, Leah is fascinated by people and considers it a privilege to be allowed access to their lives.
