AnnMarie Sciascias love of photography began in the early 1980s. She bought a 35mm camera and began photographing her children and family events. As God would have it, one day a friend asked her to assist at a wedding. AnnMarie had no idea she would be documenting memories of someones special day; however, her work was so impressive, the bride purchased seven of her photographs for her wedding album... Photojournalist Achievements:

In 2003, AnnMarie entered competition for the first time and received three National Blue Ribbons for Portrait and Wedding Images. In 2004, she began a formal college education in the technology of photography and in the same year earned her Certification from the Professional Photographer Association of America. AnnMarie earned this designation after meeting rigorous requirements measuring her artistic, technical, ethical and business competence. The PPA Certification is held by fewer than 2,500 photographers worldwide and less than five percent of photographers in America have attained this certification.
