Art has always been an integral part of my life. I took every art elective possible in High school. It wasn't until I got a job working at a professional photo lab, editing photos and printing them, that I realized my passion for photography. I started photographing my friends and family, and soon after I had everyone wanting me to take their photos.

In the beginning, I had no desire to get into wedding photography (thanks to court TV), but my mom pressured me into it. On the day of my first wedding, I was quite nervous, but as soon as I began taking photos it seemed as if I had been doing it my whole life. At that moment I knew that wedding photography was my calling.

Today photography consumes my life. I'm constantly learning and growing everyday. In my down time I read photography and wedding literature to learn more. My goal is to try something new every time I pick up the camera. This hones my skills and ensures that I become the best photographer I can be. It may sound a little cliché but I live my life by the army slogan "be all that you can be." I incorporate that into my business and art of photography.

Our professional and discrete staff, will make sure the attention remains on you, the Bride and Groom.

We strive to create fashion inspired wedding photography. You will notice most of the images on this site are fashion inspired and dramatic. We choose to display mostly these photo's here because that is our specialty. We also offer many other styles in which you can see on our website including: photo journalistic, traditional, candid, romantic, artistic and many more. This is what sets us apart from many photographers. With this combination of styles, we give you the best all around coverage for your special day.

One of the most distinctive qualities our company has is the fact that we bring studio lighting to each wedding. That means you get the best lighting possible. Many photographers find it too demanding to lug around such heavy equipment for such long hours. While we agree it is very demanding, Ellys Photography holds itself to the highest standards and we believe that this is what it takes to be the best.
