About Aaron Gil

As a child I was exposed to the world of the arts. The Classical and abstract. The audible, visual and culinary. Being moved by artist was a common emotion for me while maturing.

My fascination with photography took place as a young adult. I learned the science of light, composition and summing the moment. As I moved on to further education, a professor who viewed life in the abstract impacted me. I became liberated and began to photograph still lifes and used alternative processing methods.

At about the turn of the century my personal definition of art changed. The definition now included how one selected their daily apparel. The path one drove to work. The music one desired to hear. The manner in which one prepared a meal. The true everyday artists in this world are you. I seek to photograph these artistic values in you. I seek to photograph your substance, mood and emotion. I seek to photograph the joyful sentiments and expressions of your wedding guests.

For this reason FotoNuova was founded in 2002. If one were to categorize my work, I suppose it would include many definitions. Mostly, the result of my work is from a synergy between the subjects and I. I'm fond of capturing your artistic expressions. At the end of it all, you are the artist. I make an endeavor to seize it
